Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Relevant skills and/or experience in the target market
- Deep passion for the problem being solved
- Proven track record of excellence (individually or as a team)
- Evidence of past achievements and current startup progress
- Idea doesn’t need to be entirely original
- Execution must be unique and differentiated
- Must have an active startup (not just an idea)
- At minimum: MVP and one or more pilot projects
- Ideally existing customers or users
- Clear and compelling mission to drive positive change in your domain
- Alignment with Rockstart’s goal of changing the world through entrepreneurship
