Overview
Serbia submitted its first Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in 2017, followed by an updated version in 2022. Most recently, in September 2025, Serbia submitted its NDC 3.0.
In its NDC 3.0, Serbia sets a a 40.1% conditional greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction compared to 1990, excluding land use and forestry.
Key sectors include energy, industry, agriculture and waste.
NDC 3.0 development was led by the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP).
