Despite the country’s negligible contribution to the global greenhouse gas emissions, Vanuatu’s Updated First NDC posts both mitigation and adaptation targets in the energy, IPPU, AFOLU, and waste sectors (mitigation) and in agriculture, water management, and loss and damage (mitigation). Vanuatu’s NDC revision process was supported by the NDC Partnership Climate Action Enhancement Package through members GIZ and UNDP.
