Overview
Norway submitted its first Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in 2016, followed by an updated version in 2022. Most recently, in June 2025, Norway submitted its 2035 NDC.
In its 2035 NDC, Norway commits to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 70–75% from 1990 levels, excluding land use change and forestry (LULUCF). The NDC covers emissions from energy, industrial processes and product use, agriculture, waste and land use and LULUCF.
