Sao Tome and Principe

São Tomé and Príncipe submitted its updated NDC in 2021. The updated NDC has an emissions reduction target of 27% by 2030. The updated NDC has a broader sectoral approach covering energy, transport, fishery, agriculture, livestock farming, forestry, water, waste, civil protection, and resilience for the most vulnerable communities. The total estimated cost of NDC implementation is USD 150 million. São Tomé and Príncipe has also developed the National NDC Implementation Plan which defines objectives, results, and success indicators to measure the country's progress towards the full implementation of its NDC.
