Partnership Engagement
  • Membership: Member since 2018
  • Governance: Steering Committee member.
  • Country Engagement: Since joining the Partnership, Côte d'Ivoire has requested support related to improving the quality and ambition of the NDC; capacity building and knowledge products; preparation of NDC-related projects and pipelines for investment; mobilization of financial resources for NDC Investment projects; and private sector engagement to implement NDCs. With Partnership support, Côte d'Ivoire has developed an NDC Action Plan (Partnership Plan) for the period 2021-2025 covering 3 pillars: cross-cutting enabling conditions and finance, mitigation, and adaptation. The Partnership Plan is currently being updated following the revision of the NDC. In addition, partners have supported various activities, including identifying green recovery measures and linkages to NDC targets within the 3rd National Development Plan (PND III), increasing ambition in the updated NDC, and updating of the Partnership Plan.
