Togo

Togo submitted its first NDC in 2015 and updated NDC in 2021. The revised NDC has an economy-wide emissions reduction target of 20.51% by 2030 as compared to the business-as-usual scenario. Achieving this level of ambition will require USD 3.54 billion. The updated NDC covers the water, industrial process and product use, waste, energy, settlements, agriculture, forestry, coastal zones, and biodiversity and ecosystems sectors. Togo has the target of achieving 100% rural electrification by 2030.
