Overview
The Philippines submitted its NDC in 2021. The country commits to a projected emissions reduction and avoidance of 75%, of which 2.71% is unconditional and 72.29% is conditional, representing the country’s ambition for emissions mitigation for the period 2020 to 2030. The NDC covers the agriculture, wastes, industry, transport, and energy sectors.

Partnership Engagement
- Membership: member since 2017
- Country Engagement: Since joining the Partnership, Philippines has requested support related to the preparation of NDC-related projects and pipelines for investment; private sector engagement to implement NDCs. With Partnership support, Philippines is developing an NDC Partnership Plan covering agriculture, waste, industry, transportation, and energy sectors.
