Asian Development Bank (ADB)

The Spanish Cooperation Fund for Technical Assistance (TAGF-SPA) is a single-donor trust fund established in 2000 to finance technical assistance operations in ADB’s developing member countries (DMCs).

Project implementation, supervision, and monitoring will be conducted by user departments following ADB’s standard policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Organizational and Decision Making Structure

The Government of Spain reviews applications from ADB and approves the TA amount for each application. 

Eligibility Criteria

Sectors supported by the fund are energy (renewable energy), urban development, water and sanitation, flood management, financial sector and transport, particularly railways.  

 

Eligible Countries

Assistance from the fund is available to developing member countries of ADB and regional institutions operating in such countries.
