The Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific (JFPR) is a grant facility established by the Government of Japan and administered by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). It evolved from the original Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, which was launched in 2000. In 2021, the fund was renamed and reoriented to better support resilience and prosperity in the region, especially in light of challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic

Eligibility Criteria

The fund prioritizes sovereign project grants and technical assistance project proposals that are focused on the priority areas of universal health coverage, climate change and disaster risk management, quality infrastructure investment, and public finance management.
