The FAO-UNDP SCALA Programme supports countries in translating their nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) into actionable climate solutions in agriculture and land use. This includes strengthening the integration of climate priorities into planning and budgeting processes at the national and sectoral level.

This webinar discussed strategies for integrating climate change into national and sectoral budgeting and planning through experiences shared by two countries: Nepal and Uganda.

The webinar brought together over 80 practitioners involved in mainstreaming climate change priorities in planning and budgeting processes, with a focus on the agriculture and land use sectors.

The webinar aimed to:
1. Highlight the urgent need and approaches for integrating climate change and its impacts into national and sectoral budgets.
2. Provide an overview of existing tools and methodologies for effective budget integration.
3. Discuss lessons learned and share country experiences on budget integration.
