Guidance Note on Gender Sensitive REDD+ is a document including steps for creating a gender sensitive REDD+ process at the local, national, regional and global level. The five steps include (1) establish a baseline through a gender analysis, (2) mobilize gender expertise and create partnerships, (3) ensure the effective participation of women, (4) ensure a gender sensitive REDD+ strategy, and (5) monitor and report on gender mainstreaming.
