This report offers voluntary guidelines for designing and implementing ecosystem-based approaches to climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction, in three parts: 1) Primer for policymakers, 2) Guidelines for practitioners, and 3) Outreach into sectors.
The main audience for this report is policymakers (particularly Parts 1 and 3) and implementers including subnational governments (regions, provinces, cities and municipalities), indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs), NGOs, private sectors, research institutions and funding agencies.
