Zero Waste Foundation
UNEP has partnered with the Zero Waste Foundation, Türkiye, to advance sustainable waste management and environmental protection. This collaboration integrates cutting edge geospatial data, citizen science, and stakeholder engagement to tackle the triple planetary crisis - climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. The Istanbul Environment Centre contributes towards developing a zero waste knowledge hub, providing high-quality environmental data and analysis across key sectors. Turning data into actionable insights, the Centre supports evidence-based policymaking, sustainable urban development, and environmental progress under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
