Central Asia Climate Information Portal (CACIP) is an online portal that strengthens connectivity and information exchange on a wide range of climate change, environmental protection topics, and sustainable development issues in the Central Asian region to help stakeholders improve awareness, assessment and decision making.

The purpose of CACIP is to make climate information and learning resources accessible for the Central Asian region. CACIP objectives are:
• Provide free e-learning courses.
• Make knowledge in the field of ecology, climate change, and transition to a green, climate-resilient economy.
• Provide links to high-quality datasets from global, regional, and local sources, and analytical tools and interfaces for data visualization and interpretation.
• Connect stakeholders and help improve awareness, assessment and decision making.

The CACIP platform includes 3 main components: 1) Information Portal, 2) Geoportal (MapViewer), and 3) Learning Portal (E-Learning Space). The information portal is not only a source of news information, it is also a comprehensive information and analytical hub with many thematic products:
• A resource for distributing information about publications (Publications section);
• Information resource about upcoming events (calendar of events);
• Catalog of regional projects (over 500 projects in database);
• Analytical aggregated information about projects (Project Matrix);
• Knowledge and data sharing platform (File Share Platform);
• Idea exchange and discussion platform (Forum);
• Source of data sets;
• Catalog of useful tools.
