The NbS Management Hub helps drive efforts to scale up Nature-based Solutions and supports the uptake of the IUCN Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions, its mainstreaming in national policies and strategic plans as well as in financial decision-making.
The Hub provides support to IUCN’s members, its network of partners, and the global community, ensuring the effective implementation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
The Hub also advises countries to deliver their commitments to conserve, restore, and sustainably manage their terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems, their biodiversity, as well as the products and services they provide for human well-being and prosperity.
The NbS Management Hub supports the design, implementation, and scale-up of high-quality NbS through the following services:
• supporting policy design at the national and global level;
• assisting the development of proposals for Nature-based Solutions at the local, national, and global level;
• connecting practitioners with donors and investors;
• building capacity of practitioners across sectors;
• sharing lessons learned and best practices.
