The 30x30 Solutions Toolkit is an online toolbox, a curated web resource, providing guidance and information to implement Target 3 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (ensuring that by 2030 at least 30% of terrestrial and marine areas are effectively conserved and managed). This toolkit is envisioned as a clearing house of resources presented in an accessible and meaningful manner to design, implement and report on 30x30 strategies and action plans.
The toolkit answers the "what & where", "how", and "while ensuring" questions for meeting Target 3, by providing global guidelines and technical resources on different topics and forms of intervention. Utilizing this toolkit, practitioners and policymakers can understand key issues related to Target 3 in different areas, obtain high-level guidance, and implement appropriate interventions through accessing interactive tools.
