Terra Eólica offers an online tool to support the early-stage identification of suitable areas for wind energy projects. The free version of the platform provides access to: high-resolution wind potential maps, spatial layers highlighting exclusion zones (environmental, social, legal), and the location of power infrastructure (transmission lines, substations). The tool is designed to help users rapidly identify areas with sufficient wind potential, no major environmental or social constraints, and reasonable proximity to the grid, thereby accelerating informed decision-making during pre-feasibility assessments.
