Delgermaa Begz

Delgermaa “Demma” Begz works as a Climate Finance Consultant for the NDC Partnership Support Unit and is based in Bonn, Germany. In her role, she provides support to the coordination and implementation of the Partnership's Finance Strategy in close collaboration with the Country Engagement and Knowledge and Learning teams.

Prior to this role, Demma worked as a Green Finance Technical Consultant at UNEP's Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) in Geneva. She also worked at the UNDP Mongolia as a Sustainable/SDG Finance Consultant by supporting ministries to conduct a 'Sovereign green and sustainability bond feasibility study' and identify private sector SDG-aligned and climate investment opportunity areas for the 'SDG Investor Mapping'.

Demma holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM) from Lund University (ILU, Sweden), Central European University (CEU, Hungary), and the University of the Aegean (UAegean, Greece), and a BBA in Financial Management. She enjoys cycling, hiking, walking, and eating soup.
