Vahakn Kabakian

Vahakn Kabakian the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Lebanon and is embedded in the Ministry of Environment. He holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Technology from the University of Greenwich. Vahakn has spent 20 years with UNDP Lebanon of which he has spent over 15 years on developing UNDP Lebanon’s climate change portfolio. His work focuses on developing climate change policies and investment portfolios that enable the transition to low carbon and climate resilient economy. He has also been supporting the national government in UNFCCC climate negotiations and serves as the designated expert within several international and national fora.
