Kausal Watch is a data platform which enables multiple internal users to collaborate in entering action-level data, which is then published onto a customised, easy-to-follow public website which is viewable by all stakeholders i.e. the public, staff, elected officials, etc.. It enables public administrations to track progress and communicate their action plans efficiently. With continuous monitoring, static reports are transformed into a single, interactive, up-to-date, source of truth for everyone to refer to.
It is possible to have users and organizations across different levels of government, and the main responsible organization, be it at the national or sub-national level, can be indicated clearly. Shared indicators can be associated with actions, and correlation between actions and indicators can be shown, enabling alignment of goals and synergy between national and local policies. With the public facing dashboard, such alignment and collaboration are made transparent, increasing the trust and public acceptance towards the policies.
