Originally developed for the United Kingdom by the UK Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC), the 2050 Pathway Calculators are a suite of tools that let users create their own energy pathway for the world. The calculator allows users to consider the choices and trade-offs that nations face. They cover all parts of the economy and all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The models are rooted in scientific and engineering realities, looking at what is thought to be physically and technically possible in each sector.
