Details

The Paris Agreement recognized that “adaptation is a global challenge faced by all with local, subnational, national, regional and international dimensions.” To scale up adaptation action, countries must make strategic and intentional links between locally led adaptation and the ambitions set out for adaptation at the national level. This event will explore how countries are using multilevel governance to link subnational and national adaptation action in NDCs and national adaptation plans (NAPs).
