Capacity Building Program on Adaptation Finance - Francophone Africa (Fifth Session, Invite Only)

In recognition of the considerable challenges to access climate finance dedicated to adaptation for francophone North African and Sub-Saharan countries, the NDC Partnership and Climate Analytics initiated a regional capacity-building program. The aim of this program is to provide member countries with a unique opportunity to strengthen and develop their skills, while adopting programmatic approaches designed to create favorable conditions for increasing the mobilization of funding needed to implement their climate change adaptation priorities. This fifth session will focus on integrating Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) principles into adaptation projects as well as aligning (project) targets and indicators with SDG 5 ("Gender Equality").
