Overview

Dominica submitted its updated NDC in 2022. The country commits to an emissions reduction target of 35% by 2025 and 45% by 2030 as compared to 2014 levels. The updated NDC covers energy and industries, agriculture, solid waste, transport, trade, infrastructure and fishing. Dominica has the goal of becoming the world’s first climate-resilient nation.

Partnership Engagement
  • Membership: member since 2021
  • Country Engagement: Since joining the Partnership, Dominica’s engagement has been limited. The Government has expressed interest in receiving support for strengthening in-country coordination and access to climate finance for NDC implementation.
