Sukhragchaa Mijidsuren (Suki)
Mongolia In-Country Facilitator
Sukhragchaa Mijidsuren (Suki) is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Mongolia and is embedded within the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. He completed his bachelor’s degrees in Geo-science and Management and holds two master’s degrees: an MBA in International Management of Resources and Environment from the Technical University and Mining Academy of Freiberg, Germany and a Master of Science in Energy Science and Policy from Ajou University, The Republic of Korea. He has a strong background in the field of environment, especially in climate change, carbon capture storage, sustainable development, natural resources management, and energy policy. Previously, he worked in Mongolian Red Cross Society, GIS project in the Republic of Korea, as a scientist/project consultant in Climate Change- CCS project and Capacity Development of Sustainability and Minerals Economy project, implemented by (BGR) Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources in Hanover, Germany and served as a governmental officer in Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia. He is currently facilitating NDC implementation and Mongolia’s NDC Action Plan in by coordinating the mobilization of actors and resources and supporting the NDC Partnership Country Engagement.
