Ryan O’Connor

Ryan O’Connor is the Knowledge Tools Analyst at the NDC Partnership Support Unit and is based in Washington, D.C. Ryan leads the management of the NDC Partnership’s Knowledge Portal, coordinating feature development, strategic engagement and content curation. Ryan also serves as the food systems thematic lead and supports broader knowledge management efforts, such as web development and data management for country requests.

Before joining the Support Unit, Ryan worked as a research analyst in the Climate Resilience Practice at the World Resources Institute, where he conducted policy analysis of the adaptation components in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), developed an adaptation dataset for publication on Climate Watch, and co-authored reports highlighting trends in adaptation policy.

Ryan has a B.A. in international relations and a B.A. in Germanic studies, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.
