Nathan Mesnildrey is a Country Engagement Specialist at the NDC Partnership Support Unit. He is currently based at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat in Bonn, Germany.
In this position, Nathan works with governments and international organizations to support countries in achieving climate commitments under the Paris Agreement. Nathan's primary focus is on the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in West African countries.
Before to joining the NDC Partnership Support Unit, Nathan worked in the private sector in Paris, France, before completing a traineeship at the Delegation of the European Union for the Pacific in Suva, Fiji, and an internship at the UN Climate Change secretariat. Nathan holds a bachelor's degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master's degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles.
