Mohamed Boussaid
Regional Manager, Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle East and North Africa
My name is Mohamed BOUSSAID. I studied agronomy and rural development. I graduated from the National School of Agriculture in Morocco. I also got certificates in climate change from the University of East Anglia and in Business management and climate finance. I have more than 20 years of experience working on biodiversity and natural resource management, climate change, and sustainable development. For the last 10 years, I led projects on climate change for GIZ and UNEP. I knew about the NDC Partnership at the beginning, at its inception during COP22 in Marrakech. In my previous position, I had the pleasure of initiating some collaboration with the NDC Partnership in the MENA region and Francophone Africa.
I'm really excited to contribute to the development of the NDC Partnership and to continue working on the issue of climate change.
I love nature, especially the desert but also like hiking in the forest, visiting national parks in different ecosystems, and also like sports, and listening to music.
