Koffi Apedjagbo
Togo In-Country Facilitator
Koffi Apedjagbo is the NDC Partnership's national facilitator for Togo and is embedded the Ministry of the Environment and Forest Resources (MERF). He holds a degree in Climatology from the Faculty of Geography at the University of Lomé in Togo, and an additional diploma in Climate Change and Local Development from Le Mans University in France. Koffi is an expert in Adaptation to Climate Change, and has held several positions in local and international organizations. He worked on Togo's REDD+ readiness and contributed to the development and implementation of sustainable forest resource management and forest landscape restoration models in Togo. He has also worked on Togo's energy transition, on the concept of productive use of energy, the Water-Energy-Climate nexus and the concept of Climate-Smart Agriculture in Togo. Koffi has recently led an international program on Climate, Peace and Security, focusing on adaptation to climate change in fragile contexts in Africa and the Middle East.
