Iskander Marlen

Mr. Iskander Marlen is NDC's Senior Technical Climate Change Analyst for Kyrgyz Republic. He holds an MBA from American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) and BA Diploma in Political Science and International Relations from Drew University (USA). Iskander has over 5+ years of professional experience in designing, monitoring & evaluation of peacebuilding programmes in Central Asia, including coordination and quality assurance of projects on climate change, natural resource management & security. Iskander has a clear understanding of Kyrgyzstan’s civil society, local government, and expert networks across the country. One of Iskander’s assets is his experience in conducting and reviewing analysis and monitoring systems across Central Asia (most recently in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) on conflict-sensitive climate adaptation.
