Harrison Addo
Country Engagement Specialist
Harrison Addo is a Country Engagement Specialist at the NDC Partnership Support Unit; he is based in Bonn, Germany. Before joining the NDC Partnership, Harrison worked with the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB), where he played a key role in developing their climate finance strategy and taxonomy, as well as raising equity. In this role, he engaged with multilateral development banks (MDBs) to mobilize resources for climate action and sustainable development and led initiatives to enhance investment in renewable energy projects.
Harrison also has extensive experience in trade policy and has worked with various stakeholders to promote sustainable development initiatives across the region. He holds an M.B.A. from Durham University and a master’s in international and development economics from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Berlin. He is also a Certified Expert in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance (CECRF).
His areas of interest include climate finance, sustainable development and the intersection of climate action and economic growth.
