Congo In-Country Facilitator
Glory Darol NKANZA NZOUZI is a forestry specialist with degrees in Sustainable Forest Management, Rural Development Planning and International Development, with expertise in climate change adaptation, including the monitoring and evaluation of adaptation projects, programmes and policies, climate vulnerability assessment and the design of climate change strategies and policies, and climate finance. He has taken part in nearly 30 international missions to support and strengthen country capacities, seminars, workshops and conferences on climate change and sustainable development. He also has expertise in climate-smart agriculture in the preparation of project finance proposals and in the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, particularly in the adaptation components of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). In addition to numerous partnerships with governments, research bodies, universities and consultancy organisations, these recent missions have been carried out in the Republic of Congo on behalf of African Parks, Nature Alliance, the UNDP, the FAO and others.
Glory is embedded within the Ministry of the Environment, Sustainable Development and the Congo Basin as a facilitator for the implementation of the NDC in the Republic of Congo.
