Dane Armstrong

Dane is a writer with the Outreach & Governance team and is based in Mbabane, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). In his role, Dane researches and writes articles, stories and other communication-related media for the NDC Partnership.
Dane also works as a freelance environmental consultant, researcher, writer and artist. His work predominantly focuses on climate change, sustainability, social justice, youth empowerment, art and creative freedom of expression.
Prior to joining the Partnership, he worked with the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini on their NDC revision process and numerous projects under the country’s National Adaptation Plan. Dane holds an MSc in Sustainability and Adaptation from the Graduate School of the Environment (UK) and twin-bachelor degrees in Economics and Business Administration (from the Netherlands and Finland respectively).
