Alejo Villarrubia

Alejo Villarrubia is the Part-Time Website Coordinator at the NDC Partnership Support Unit and is based in Elche, Spain. Alejo oversees the building of new website modules and coordinates all routine activities for the websites owned by the organization. 

With over 15 years of experience, Alejo has worked on many different software engineering projects as a consultant, developer and lead engineer, contributing to the delivery of websites and backend software products. The last position that Alejo held before joining the Support Unit was as a lead software engineer in the health industry, where he coordinated the development and deployment of a health data platform using cutting-edge technologies. 

Alejo has a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Alicante, a master’s degree in the development of software for mobile devices, and a master's degree in teacher training.
