Abdullahi Khalif
Somalia In-Country Facilitator
Abdullahi Khalif is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Somalia. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology and a diploma in management/administration and institutional development. Abdullahi is a former honorary lecturer at the University of Nairobi. Abdullahi published several peer-reviewed papers on climate change, food security, and governance among others. He has 20+ years of professional experience in leadership, governance, overseas development and humanitarian aid, climate financing, policy advice, partnership dialogue, and donor relations and worked with International NGOs, UN agencies, Donors, Early Warning Systems (EWS) and Academia. Abdullahi’s technical skills include Climate Financing, Food Security, Early Warning, Resilience, Agriculture, Water Resources, Vegetation, and Climate Scenarios Building.
