NDC Partnership Shapes the Next Phase of Country-Led Climate Action in New York

17 Sept. 2026, New York — The NDC Partnership, represented by its Co-Chairs, Steering Committee, former leadership and members, is on the ground at the United Nations General Assembly and New York Climate Week, reaffirming the power of collective action in advancing countries’ climate and development priorities.  

As the NDC Partnership approaches its 10-year anniversary, members will spotlight the value of collaboration forged over the past decade and the need to strengthen and adapt it to accelerate the delivery of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) at a time of growing climate impacts and constrained resources.

Throughout the week, NDC Partnership engagements will span discussions on climate finance, nature, energy and country platforms, alongside the role of multilateral cooperation in delivering climate and development priorities. The NDC Partnership will also contribute to strategic conversations on the Tropical Forest Forever Facility, Global Implementation Accelerator and Climate Implementation Bridge, and participate in Belém Mission to 1.5, as well as the Solutions Dialogues convened by the UN Secretary-General. The Support Unit will support NDC Partnership engagements across events and meetings.
