Supporting Implementable NDCs 3.0

The NDC Partnership has supported nearly 100 countries in preparing their NDCs 3.0. Since 2023, countries have sought and received support for a wide range of needs, from modeling and costing to coordinating government stakeholders and engaging civil society and the private sector. This work helps countries move from planning to implementation, turning NDCs into funded programs, policies and projects.

This next generation of NDCs reflects a growing emphasis on implementation. Countries are increasingly focused on integrating climate goals into national development strategies, securing financing and building institutional capacity and relationships to deliver measurable results.

Looking Ahead

As global attention turns toward COP30 in Brazil, the NDC Partnership is underscoring the need for sustained support to help countries implement their NDCs. In New York, the NDC Partnership members, Co-Chairs and the Support Unit are underscoring that ambition must be matched with robust implementation — ensuring results that drive countries to raise ambition further.
