Denmark Appoints New Climate Ambassador

The Government of Denmark appointed H.E. Mr. Ole Thonke, currently Undersecretary for Development Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the new Climate Ambassador today.

Prior to his position as Undersecretary for Development Policy, H.E. Mr. Ole Thonke has served as ambassador to Kenya, Pakistan and Bolivia, as well as head of office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Office for Green Diplomacy, and also head of Citizen Services. The Climate Ambassador will also continue as Undersecretary for Development Policy.

In his role as Climate Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Ole Thonke will represent the Partnership in various fora.
