The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is a program whose research is rooted in providing awareness about the increasing risks of global warming and decreasing food security attributed to agricultural practices and policies. The CGIAR Research Program on CCAFS aims to help food companies assess, manage, and disclose their emissions generated through the agricultural supply chain. This report provides food companies with a variety of tools and information that describe in detail how to better assess their supply chain (Scope 3) emissions. Once food companies have assessed and evaluated their emissions, they are then able to use that information to improve disclosure and mitigation of their Scope 3 emissions.
