Call Summary
The Visionaries Impact Challenge calls on individuals to unleash entrepreneurial expertise and create a powerful business idea in just 4 weeks through a part-time program. The program runs from January 24 through February 21, 2024, and provides participants a part-time (5-10 hours per week), fully remote opportunity to explore and validate sustainable Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Computer Vision tech cases.
The program provides personalized guidance and mentorship from tech and business experts, and supports participants in entrepreneurial development through five steps:
1. Ideation & use case research
2. Problem & solution framing
3. Customer interviews & business models
4. Pitch practice & coaching
5. Win a Visionaries program spot
At the conclusion of the challenge, successful pitches may win participants a spot in Next Big Thing's Visionaries Incubation Program, which can lead to incorporation and pre-seeded funding.
Individuals may apply with or without a business ideas, selecting from six different impact challenges. After that, Next Big Thing will arrange a get-to-know call to learn more about you, followed by a short case assessment. They will select the best talents to join the program based on your performance. If chosen, you will start the challenge with us on January 24th, where you'll receive the necessary support and guidance to turn your tech idea into a reality.

- You are a natural leader with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
- You can dedicate at least 5-10 hours per week to the Impact Challenge program
- You are eager to make the leap into the entrepreneurial realm
- You are fluent in English
