Call Summary
The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (hereinafter referred to as the Lab) is an investor-led, public-private initiative that accelerates innovative well designed, early-stage climate finance solutions and instruments. The Lab is looking for innovative finance solutions that can unlock investment to tackle some of the most difficult climate and sustainable development challenges and investment opportunities for a net zero and resilient economy. Proposed sustainable finance vehicles should offer returns for private investors, create jobs and other local economic benefits, sustain biodiversity, improve climate resilience and/or decrease emissions.
The Lab will select at least nine ideas for development in 2025, focusing on innovative solutions that address barriers to climate investment in emerging markets and support the transition to a net-zero economy.

Eligibility Criteria
In 2025, the Lab will develop at least nine ideas. Six ideas will focus on five regional programs, with two ideas targeting Latin America and the Caribbean, and three thematic ideas:

• Latin America and the Caribbean – Adaptation
• Latin America and the Caribbean – Mitigation
• The Philippines
• Agriculture and Food Systems
• Climate Adaptation
• Climate Mitigation
