Call Summary
The Catalytic Climate Finance Facility (CC Facility) has announced the opening of a new application round for high-impact, scalable blended financial structures in developing economies. These structures should have already demonstrated market traction and be poised for significant growth.

The CC Facility offers up to USD 500,000 in grant funding, tailored technical assistance, and access to knowledge-sharing resources through a Learning Hub to help promising blended finance structures scale their impact. It offers targeted support in strategy, fundraising, and operations, with a focus on overcoming market barriers to mobilize private capital for climate action.

In addition, the program helps refine approaches to gender mainstreaming, impact measurement and management, and local capacity development while building effective operational and governance systems. The ultimate goal is to empower blended finance structures to drive business success, attract funding through targeted outreach, and accelerate their scale-up.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on a set of qualifying characteristics and key evaluation criteria:

- Investment theme: Structures addressing climate adaptation and/or mitigation
- Sectors: No restriction
- Geography: Developing countries.
- Stage: Market-ready structures moving through an initial adoption stage in their development process
- Team & local capacity: Proven track record and experience in targeted sector and geography, capacity and willingness to engage with the CC Facility program, and on-the-ground presence. Additionally, structures will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate local capacity development (e.g., knowledge, leadership, and technology transfer) in the target geography.
- Entity type: Organizations or a consortium of organizations, including advisory firms, foundations, not-for-profits, fund managers, and private enterprises. Public institutions such as development finance institutions, multilateral development banks, UN and government agencies cannot be the lead applicant or grant recipient.

Furthermore, the CC Facility will evaluate eligible applications based on criteria including additionality, catalytic potential, financial sustainability, gender equality, and mobilization.
