The CCAC Secretariat is officially launching a call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for ODA-eligible CCAC country partners.
The information collected on countries' needs and priorities will be used to inform how the CCAC allocates future funding for projects that reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) in line with the CCAC Funding Process. These projects are integral to delivering the CCAC 2030 Strategy.
In 2025, based on inputs from the questionnaire, the CCAC will give priority to funding allocations that support three different project categories:
- Appraisal, Objective Setting, Planning: This phase involves the initial assessment and strategic planning necessary to address SLCPs, which include pollutants like methane, black carbon, and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)
- Policy and Regulatory design: This category involves the creation of policies, regulations, and frameworks that will govern the reduction of SLCPs
- Implementation and Scale: This phase focuses on executing the planned strategies and scaling up successful interventions to achieve widespread impact.
The questionnaire is intended for ODA-eligible CCAC country partners. Sub-national governments can submit the form with a project idea that is supported by the CCAC country Focal Point and that promotes vertical integration.
