SB62: Center on Access to Climate Finance Peer Exchange Event: Improved Access to Multilateral Climate Funds

This peer exchange event, organized by the Center for Access to Climate Finance, aims to mainstream best practices and facilitate knowledge sharing among climate-vulnerable developing countries, climate finance providers and experts. The goal is to discuss strategies for improving access to multilateral climate funds (MCFs). The event will address country-specific constraints and potential levers, providing a platform for participants to learn from the experiences of those that have successfully navigated the complexities of accessing MCFs. Additionally, attendees will hear directly from MCF representatives about their priorities and requirements for funding, as well as ways to accelerate the application process. 

By bringing together diverse stakeholders, the event seeks to foster a collaborative environment where innovative solutions can be explored. Participants will have the opportunity to share their unique challenges and insights, contributing to a collective understanding of how to overcome barriers.
