Next-level NDCs: Raising Ambition with the NDC Partnership’s Climate Action Enhancement Package 

The Climate Action Enhancement Package (CAEP) is a new offering of the NDC Partnership designed to deliver targeted, fast-track support to countries to enhance the quality and increase the ambition of their NDCs. This session will provide an overview of CAEP’s progress to date and key insights into how countries are approaching enhancement and setting themselves up to submit more ambitious NDCs in 2020. Through CAEP’s first round, 50 countries will be receiving technical and capacity building support from over 30 implementing partners. Presentations will cover CAEP results to date, key trends in and tools for NDC enhancement, and specific insights from countries and implementing partners leading innovative efforts to increase ambition.
