LAC Climate Week - Gathering of LAC Partners

The Gathering of LAC partners aims to provide a regional exchange platform for the relevant institutions and agencies in the region, in order to: 

• Achieve a better understanding of the regional and international cooperation landscape in the region within the climate and development space; including a clear overview of the various partner programs/initiatives, support windows and resources that are currently available to support LAC countries;  

• Convene and establish relationships with implementing and development partners active in the region, including members and non-members of the Partnership, and promote synergies among organizations; 
• Discuss challenges, opportunities and solutions to achieve more effective partner coordination and increased resource mobilization in response to country needs; 
• Enable smaller group discussions on the unique challenges and opportunities across the Latin America and the Caribbean subregions; 
• Propose the establishment of an annual meeting of partners and determine the best modality for the establishment of a regular partner coordination mechanism, based on partner inputs and feedback.
