Higher NDC-ambition through Collaborative Climate Action
In light of stark global climate challenges, Collaborative Climate Action is gaining traction in policymaking and in pursuit of reaching the goals formulated in the Paris Agreement. Only through cooperation between different levels of government, also known as multi-level governance, can a just transition and accelerated climate action be achieved. 2020 needs to be a year of action, and countries will need to formulate more ambitious targets for climate change mitigation in their Nationally Determined Contributions.
