COP29: Transitioning away from fossil fuels in transport - a key priority on the global climate agenda

The decision for a transition away from fossil fuels has been a key outcome at COP28. This session will explore how international climate policy can contribute to establishing favorable conditions for national transport policies that put this transition into practice.   Furthermore, the role of transport in the new NDCs will be discussed. Lastly, the session will open the debate on the role of transport in future climate negotiations.
