Overview

Ukraine submitted its revised NDC in 2021. The revised NDC features an emissions reduction target of 65% by 2023 compared to 1990 levels. The revised NDC covers the energy, industrial process and products use, agriculture, land use and land-use change, forestry, and waste sectors. Ukraine has also submitted the Low Emission Development Strategy in 2018. The country commits to achieving carbon neutrality and net-zero by 2060.

Partnership Engagement
  • Membership: member since 2019
  • Country Engagement: Since joining the Partnership, Ukraine has requested support related to LT-LEDS development and/or enhancement. Through the Partnership, Ukraine has received support related to the mobilization of financial resources for NDC investment projects, delivered through the World Bank’s Climate Support Facility.
